Is it okay to use black rubber flex to feed an outside light?

Flex would be wired into an IP56 junction box taking it's feed from a SFCU inside from the lounge ring, so junction box is about 1.2m from the ground, need to run up from this and about 6 metres along the wall to the light.

1mm Black rubber flex or 1.5mm Hituf?

Thanks.

The black rubber will become brittle due to heat from the sun, You would be better using SWA or even T&E or singles in conduit

swa or singles i can agree with, but i would say T&E is not really a cable i would use outside as this too can be affected by the sun.
