Hi

I am looking for one of these, locally in the UK

cable_zpse464a375.jpg

There are two bumps on the connector which are used to lock it into place, when joined to the socket.

I have seen similar controls on the internet, but they all show angled sockets ... would they fit ?

The key type thing stops the control unit working if removed ... a nice touch, but not essential.

Does anybody know of a good / cheap supplier please ?

The wire is damaged, not the control unit ... could the wire be fixed, or would that end up more expensive than a new control unit.[/img]

You'll probably find it's easier to contact OKIN for a replacement unit, don't know how much they'll be - probably not cheap but then again, cheaper than using a sub standard unit if it causes an accident.

It is often possible to repair the cable if the damage is confined to a short length of the cable and is not close to an end.

It does mean a bulge in the cable but is a lot cheaper than buying a whole new controller.

probably quite simple to repair the cable as i assume there are only a few wires in the cable
