i am helping someone out they have got air lock (guess in the immersion heater the water is comin out hot tap but slow as the immersion is only filling up a fifth.i have got all valves open in loft.it is not central heating the immersion heather is run off the tank and that is full with toilet and everything workin

did anyone happen to close a gate valve near the cylinder?
there all open
is there a way i can test the immersion to see if water is in it i dont want to put it on and it blows.there is water comin out of hot tap but i dont know if this is from tank
