hi,
recently had my hall way plastered, the plasterer took down my lights and were destroyed in the process.
i have one light downsatirs and one light upstairs. the switch downstairs for the lights controls both upstairs and downstairs light and switch upstairs just does the upstairs light.

now the real problem,,,, downstairs light wiring is:
1 red wire/1 black wire in sleeve
2 red wire/2 black wires in another sleeve
1 earth wire

upstairs wiring is
1 red wire/1 black wire in sleeve
1 red wire/1 black wire in another sleeve

i have no idea what wires are live/neutral for the new light fixture

any help wud be appreciated
