Hi,
Glad i have found this site as something has been bothering me.
I recently added in a garage, a socket to run a tumble dryer, used 2.5mm flat cable, in conduit, run length is appxox 1metre, directly into the consumer unit, what is the best size B type breaker to use ? its currently on a 32A type b RCD ( wylex) should it be A 16 or should i increase the cable size...

Thanks

Nick

many thanks !!!
would a 16amp breaker be OK on the 2.5mm ? as i have one

yes. this would be the preference on 2.5mm radials, but since the run is so short, theres no problems with a 20 amp. 16 is fine.
