    Why doesn't everyone 'ignore' Himmy?

I realise you get drawn in, as I used to, by his drivel, thinking "No one can be that stupid, I'll just correct him" but it isn't worth the bother.

Do you all realise that he would effectively be silenced and rendered invisible if you did?

Am I tempted to see what he wrote? Nope.

Why would you be tempted to read the rantings of a lunatic. Not so many years ago people like Dimmy used to get placed in asylums. They were happy there.

Now they let them out into the community and call it progress.

Anyone remember Gasbags hilarious attempt at ignoring myself Himmy and probably others? Came up with some bonkers reason why he had to carry on reading the posts.
I only have one member on ignore and I have never responded to a single post of his since. Did it initially as an experiment, but it has proved worthwhile as far as I am concerned.

My advice is don't bleat on about it - just get on with it and keep shtum.

I see everyone else's posts (obvious replies) and it is clear they are as frustrated and infuriated as I was, therefore the only way to shut him up is...

Curious as to why it's "bleating on about it".
When does a post become "bleating on about it"?

Isn't there one poster who bleats far more than anyone else?

Because I will happily, talk, debate, engage with anyone that can give a coherent, well balanced, non abusive, informative, that is willing to answer questions put to them when they ask their own and expect replies. It's only fair.

    Short memory?

Remember Gasbags incessant ramblings about those on ignore? He even dedicated threads to his championing of the ignore button. The hilarious part was he kept on responding to all those he was supposedly ignoring!
    You couldn't make it up.

So where does Boyo come from? certainly no parts of Staffordshire that I am familiar with and even less so with the ones that I think you are actually from and operate in then. One can only assume that you use, or try to use, the term Boyo to belittle people? Use the term Boyo round the Chase to a stranger and see how that gets on son! Duck, Darlin, Yoof, Flower, Fella all good but I dare you to use Boyo on a stranger!!!
