one radiator creaks

why is it I have one radiator in the system (lounge) that creaks at certain intervals, all the others in the house do not. it is filled with water to the brim.

also. if central heating is off and all the radiators are cold, why would one (in en suite ) stay hot even during summer. have to switch it off at the incoming valve.

driving me mad!!

Creaking probably due to thermal movement against brackets. Bathroom rad is probably connected across the pipes feeding the HW cylinder from boiler. Just close the valve once a year - and find a more credible reason for going mad.
