Hi I have a hikvision system fitted and asked my installer to price a budget system for my daughter and he suggested tvi over hikvision to save money as it’s only two cameras for the door and car , I don’t know what to do, any opinions please

Won’t know till Friday when he comes out to see the property all he said tvi would be cheaper than hikvision, so will get two prices from him
I just wondered if I got it wired in cat cable with baluns and tvi cameras so posted here
I wire all cctv in cat 5 as it can be upgraded at a later date

Hilook IP camera ( cut down version of above £60-£70 plus vat plus base ( if available )

Without specific models and knowing what you want it to be capable of and at what distance from the property hard to say if it’s good value or wasted money.
