Condensate is acidic and if run into the "wrong" drain could kill the bacteria needed to recycle water.

I have never heard so much bullshit in my life...i mean it takes my breath away :shock:

for a start how acidic do you think condensate is? also an internal drain is in fact preferred as it will not freeze in cold weather unlike the ones on the outside...

OK, was on precarious ground for that argument, but isn't there something about not running condensate into surface water drains?
 
Yeah, but you don't run sink wastes or washing maching wastes into them either, cos they're classed as foul (contaminated) water. Bleach, disinfectant, soap powder etc. etc.
