Optex MX40QZ False Alarm

I have the Optex MX40QZ in my garage (attached to house and has two zones from the house panel) and has not given me any issues until this week when I had two false alarms.

I put the zone on soak for a week and it has tripped whilst I have been away.

As I have a dog all other PIR in the house are omitted so I cannot say if anything else is possibly going into fault. One ot two things I am thinking of trying are:

• Masking one or two detectors to see if they alarm when set - I can put these in the soak test suite.
• I will pop the cover off the DT this weekend to see if there are any issues internally
• Short circuit the garage DT alarm pair at the detector to check the field wiring on soak

We did hava mouse in the void between the ground and first floor last year so I am hoping he hasn't nibbled the cables!

Any other things to check would be gratefully received.
