My parent's alarm system is getting on in years and has had a few issues. The wiring is in place for most things so can be reused. However, the front door never had a contact fitted as they only ever used the back door and PIRs covered everything that needed it.
I don't fancy pulling up carpets to run an extra cable so I was wondering what options are available for hybrid panels to add a wireless door contact. Any recommendations? I only need 5 or 6 zones - 4 wired 2 wireless, perhaps to give a little room to change things
