What is better for a floor in a summerhouse, poly x oil or varnish, I normally use rustins clear matt.
Can i apply polyx oil over a stained pine floor or does it need to go onto the bare wood, because i want a slightly darker look than the new white wood flooring.
I've also got some Elm hardwood cills I'm going to put the polyx oil onto by itself.
