It will be fed from a 2.5mm radial from the CU.
It has been noted that "The History of Safety Regulations is Written in Blood"Is the circuit protected by an RCD at the consumer unit ?
If it is you don't need the socket which has an RCD built in.
better than drinking it........Have you been swimming in Fosters?
That's a very narrow view of benefit/value of having RCDs/RCBOs.... and .... protection for "Life Forms" interacting with the circuit is provided (via RCDs/RCBOs) at the source .... We cannot foresee that which we do not know but, history has taught that "Equipment Grounding" is necessary on electrical circuits (to disconnect the circuit via the "overload protection device"), and RCDs/RCBOs are necessary to reduce the risk of "electrocution", via any residual Line to Earth connection - through any "Life Form".

Or the normal 32 a used for a ring. A radial can be taken from a ring anywhere including at the CU on a 32 a MCB.2.5mm radial....make sure its on a 20 or 16 amp mcb
