I have one of these type external junction boxes fitted as part of a security light setup for the house.

Stupidly I tore all the rubber out one of the side entries, rather than the specific cutout that leaves a bit of a rubber seal.

With a gland fitted, there are nowanow few little gaps where water could get in.

Is this something to worry about? I made a hole in the bottom entry so in theory, worst case it did fill with water it could drain out this hole.

Cheers.

Just the time aspect at the moment, getting a chance to do DIY is rare these days.

If it is low risk, I'll just leave it as is.

That is an idea, but if I do that I might as well just bite the bullet and change the box (before the wet season comes)
