Can i spur of a socket in the kitchen to put a socket in my shed. I plan to put a RCD onto the socket in the shed to protect the mains but what do I put in between the spur to allow me to isolate the supply if need be? Would a FCU be suffice?

Do you know about part p?

What sort of cable are you using?

How will said cable be protected from the elements and meddling kids and spades?

Does the circuit already have RCD protection? (Clue: since your are adding something to said circuit, the answer will be yes as it needs to be compliant to pass building regs. Then you wont need an RCD at the shed)
