Outside tap nozzle thread / hose adapter fitting

Before I take the plunge and get a new garden hose - can anyone tell me what kind of fitment I need for this type of tap? I inherited an old hose that was jemmied on and fixed with a jubilee clip and would like something more long-term.

It's a standard 1/2" bibcock - Hozelock et all do fittings that screw on direct, or you can fix a small length of garden hose on and secure it with a jubilee clip as before.....and then Hozelock to that.

my vote is to avoid the hozelock brand, they always seem to pop apart under pressure in my garden.

I've never had a problem with Hozelock, they are a premium brand. I bought 20 of them last year, never had a problem.

(I keep leaving them on peoples garden tap when I fill my jetter.)

Your tap is threaded. Unscrew the nut holding part the hose was connected to.
