Oven fitting estimate.

My wife want a new oven and has received an estimate for it's fitting. I wonder if you guys can tell me whether it is reasonable.
The kitchen is 30 years ols and the oven we currently have is a Moffat 1200 tall double oven. This is currently hard piped.
The new one will be a Stoves and is only available in 900mm and will therefor require a shelf fitted to the opening below the oven.
I have to provide the wood for the shelf (as I am told it will enable me to get a good match) and I am also required to provide the fused spur as it has an electric grill and the spec requires this.
The company says that the fitter requires £150.
Is this a rip off or is the extra provision of a shelf hiking the price up. As I require a flexi-tube bayonet fitting, are these expensive. Please advise.
BTW. I live in London suburbs, Romford.

It is never possible to price a job like this on a forum but TBH £150 in Romford is probably not that far out - Gas Cookers are notorious for throwing up problems during installation especially if cabinet work is required so I expect the £150 does include a contingency fund!!

some firms sell built in gas appliances over the internet where no site visit has been done.
some will not refund the delivery/fitting cost if they find the original unit is not fitted to current specs,fitter is in a hurry,parked on restricted parking area, etc,etc.
anyway £150.00 is reasonable as it includes delivery,fitting,2 operatives,set up,testing,instruction to use and dumping your old appliance including all packing crap.

It sounds as if you need a gas registered engineer to connect a gas appliance and someone good at carpentry and also able to do electrical connections.

So its either three people or a single multi-skilled person.

None of the aspects are terribly difficult but whereas I can do the others I do like to avoid carpentry ( except for myself ).
