Oven not working

Not to use the oven and it is the oven that isn’t getting hot, she realised after putting her tea in and 10 minutes later the oven was still cold.

My assumption is that the over tripped the rcd when something failed.

Is there any power to the oven? Or do you mean cooker?

Have you looked in the consumer unit to see if anything has tripped?

When an oven has power, but does not heat, it is often because the timer clock needs resetting

Element had blown, new element fitted.

Is that the ring/round element at the back?

A few years ago I had a Neff oven, the ring element popped. I fitted a snide one and that failed after a year. The next one lasted 2 years..

I hope yours is better quality than the one I purchased.

It will help other people if you mention the source and longevity though. And yes,
