I'm fitting an overflow to a second hand belfast sink. It has a standard 1"ish round overflow hole rather than a weir overflow. The trouble is the overflow fitting I have is only 24mm long and the sink is about 25mm thick, so there's no way of screwing the fitting into the overflow pipe (which runs into the trap). Does anyone know where I can find a longer 1" round overflow fitting? Something in the region of 30mm would be perfect, but longer would also do as I could cut it down.

Thanks,

Nick

Could you use a bath overflow, with a 'banjo' clamped outside the sink by a central bolt through a grille inside?
