Paint Gloss Oil/water based

Ive only just found out that gloss comes in a watery easy to apply.

Will i need loads of coats of this and is the finish the same ?.

I have painted a few internal doors with it and previous coats were with proper oil based gloss, is this a problem ?.

please help

Generally the finish is not as good as with oil based.

How many coats you need is more dependant on the surface, ie. previous colour/finish and condition. You'll probably need at least 2 coats.

I would only ever use it if there was a lot of woodwork and small children about as some clients worry about the fumes. Even then it's not ideal.
