I would like to know how to turn the panel chime (think that's the right term)off or turn the volume down on the panel when arming the system via Wintex.
Keypad chime to be left on when arming.

Thanks

Lost me.

Chime as in door chime.
Or tone is in confirmation tone when system sets (wintex / remote arming is instant?).

Sorry it’s my terminology.
When arming the panel emits a tone which I would like to turn down the volume or if not off.
Just leaving the keypad tone on for when arming.
Thanks

The problem is you cant control the volumes completely independently.

So you have:-

Keypad volume (specific to that keypad)
keypad tones

Panel Volume/speaker (adjust volume of that speaker connected to the speaker terminals)
Panel tones

Advisory volume
Chime volume

so service tone is the confirmatory set tone, but its also what you hear when theres a fault.

Its in the manual ish.
