Part arm at keypad issues

Hi, I'm having an issue trying to part arm a system at the keypad. Just says preparing to arm.

I know what this means but it makes no sense as I can part arm using the app without any issue.

Why can I set via the app and it won't set via the keypad?

System isn't new, been in for about 1 year and been working fine until today.

Without a crystal ball ….alarm panel make and model may help ….possibly it’s a Texecom premier …..but ?
