Hey all!
Doing some work this year and one of the jobs will be to re-do the patio. Currently all over the place and a lot of broken slabs.
The main plan is to remove them all and then re-level the area and put some matching reclaimed sleepers against the mini garden wall so it all matches.
Then get some new slabs and lay them with a 10mm gab between them all, along with a 50mm gab around the edge near the sleepers for a gravel edge.
Patio will then have a gradual run off onto the lawn with another new bottom row of slabs for a second step.
We are looking at limestone paving slabs which would be the same 600x600 slab size, that way it makes it easier to work out how many slabs we need - just count existing.
Any pointers or tips?
