Patio spacers? What are they?

Good afternoon all.

I'm having a blast at laying a stone patio this weekend. Everywhere I read about how to do this they all mention patio spacers.

I've looked everywhere for these and nobody seems to have heard of them

Any help on this one?

It just a term rather than an actual product. The same function as tile spacers so that your joints are uniform width! I'm sure a specific product does exist but i have never used nor seen them. use timber off cuts. or similar
