Windows 10, on Chrome and FIrefox
Desktop pc, no touchpad.
When I press Ctrl, the screen zooms right out, in steps
If I put the mouse in a selection window (like the folder select far left in File explorer), it scrolls to the bottom by itself.
[found that one it was a mouse option selection, "scroll windows when I hover over them" I think I set that to see what it did, a few day ago. Unset and that's fixed. It deosn't fix the zoom problem though]
I can use the scroll wheel to fight it the zooming, but it's like running up the down escalator..
Fortunately Ctrl 0 works to set screen to 100%
I have powered off, waited, switch on again
New keyboard
New mouse
Run Malwarebytes free version.
No difference.
Just thought I haven't tried system restore - will do that now.
Edit- said it couldn't run because an AV program was preventing access. Nope - I don't use one. Unless it found a bit of adware quarantined by by MB.
