Peace has broken out.

Hamas don’t have the worldwide propaganda machine that Israel has.
Get real. The left wing press in this country is all but enarmoured with them. I include the BBC in that.

Spoiler, it's Bid en's deal, and it was him who supported Nettie from the start. Trumpf is not president yet

Oh dear, it turns out Netanyahu was the reason for the peace deal delay…..

The delay comes as Netanyahu faces fierce opposition from right-wing Israelis over the deal, including key members of his governing coalition. While a majority of Israelis support a deal that would bring the hostages home, even at the cost of releasing hundreds of Palestinians convicted of terrorism from Israeli prisons, some on the right believe any agreement that leaves Hamas intact falls short of a goal of “total victory,” which Netanyahu has long pledged.

I’ve never once used the term “Jew hater”

Why do you feel the need to lie ?

Show me one example, just one ?

But you can’t, you’re a sad lying weasel
That’s odd, you previously said you have

Further concerns in Israel about Trump's intentions:

For about eight years, the Israeli right and its advocates abroad have looked to Trump as their champion — and the admiration was understandable. As president, he and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu forged a close relationship, with Trump delivering on a list of Netanyahu’s long-held wishes. In 2019, images of the two shaking hands figured prominently in Netanyahu’s reelection campaign.

But now, some of those who praised Trump in both Israel and the United States are trashing the hostage deal he is championing as he reenters office — and in some cases, they’re criticizing Trump himself.

Many supporters and observers of the Israeli right aren’t shocked that Trump’s love isn’t unconditional. Trump portrays himself as a dealmaker and has long professed a desire to make the “Deal of the Century” in the Middle East, as well as bring an end to the Israel-Hamas war.

On Wednesday, Israeli journalist Shmuel Rosner tweeted, “Is the right disappointed in Trump? Yes, but they’re not necessarily surprised. The Israeli right doesn’t have heavenly faith in the president. And that was before it became known that he put pressure on the question of a hostage deal.”

There are several articles in Haaretz arguing that this second Trump presidency will turn out to be a disaster for Israel. It is all a bit confusing, but it seems to be along the lines that Trump wants Saudi Arabia and Israel to normalise relations, and that will release hugely lucrative business deals for US companies within Saudi Arabia, and also through the rebuilding of Gaza. But Saudi Arabia will only agree if there is a two state solution.

And then there are articles elsewhere claiming Trump will allow Israel to annex the West Bank and northern Gaza.

So who knows?

During the last Trump presidency Trump initiated the Abraham Accords by negotiating the normalizing of relations between Israel and several Arab countries. Normalizing meaning opening of diplomatic relations, tourism and trade and recognising Israels sovereignty. So far agreements have been made with Sudan, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Morocco. (peace agreements were already signed with Jordan and Egypt many years ago.
Saudi Arabia were on the cusp of signing when October 7th occurred. It's no secret that Iran were desperate for Saudi not to enter into an agreement with Israel.
Saudi's signing will be dependant on a West Bank solution and working toward a two state solution. When Saudi do eventually join the accord, and they will, expect other arab countries to follow.
Israel has massively weakened Irans influence in the Middle East, the Abraham accords and renewed sanctions will finish off Iran, or at least the Ayatollahs which means freedom for the Iranian people.
Saudi is acutely aware that oil is on a downward spiral and so wants to become more involved in tech and manufacturing to secure their own future, Israel as the most technologically advanced country in the Middle East would be the perfect partner for Saudi.
The US have guaranteed Saudi security in the form of advanced weapons if they sign up to the Abraham accords.

There have always been destabilising factions in the Middle East, encouraged and funded by Iran, Russia and to a lesser degree, China. Saudi signing up to the Abraham accords will tip the balance of the Middle East closer to stability.

Turkey are emerging as a bit of a wild card, as much as they complain about Israel illegally occupying Southern Lebanon, Turkey are illegally occupying parts of Northern Lebanon whilst carry out a genocide of the Kurdish people.
That wont change any time soon, been going on for too long.

Hamas don’t have the worldwide propaganda machine that Israel has.

Someone's both financing and organising the pro Palestinian protests in London every week. Someone is financing activists at American universities. Hamas don't need a worldwide propaganda machine, they have Iran.

The Jewish people have one quite small place in the world they can call home. It is called Israel. The Muslim people however, have a much bigger pick. So when we are talking about fairness, it isn't tipped towards the Israelis.
That's like saying as an Englishman you should go and live in USA or Australia

It's not Netanyahu who's suddenly come up with extra demands, it's Hamas. Even the BBC are reporting this.

He won't get thrown in jail, only in your dreams.
Jail is irrelevant

He has to face the courts 1st.

Unless a deal is done where the charges get dropped maybe.

All parties agreed last night to a release of hostages in exchange for a release of Palestinian prisoners, off the top of my head I think it was 30 Palestinians for 1 single hostage. Israel would have a veto on which prisoners were released to avoid releasing murderers or mass murderers. Hamas agreed to this but in the early hours backtracked and said they want to specify which prisoners are released.

Israel said no. We stick to the terms you agreed or no deal.
You do know how many prisoners Israel has ?
