What has the spending cuts got to do with wearing the nijab?

Regarding the cuts this has got to be too much too soon, yet again the rich are not affected but its the least wealthy that feel it the most, typical conservative for ya

I think your right snugib. Government should rush through a law requiring everyone to have their face in plain sight whilst walking/running in public.
No religious exemptions either. After all , one of the would be bombers in London (after the original 7/7) escaped by dressing as a Muslim woman.
Hoodies too should be totally banned.
Anyone doesn't like it,,, Hard Luck.

Ahh Ladylola, I did say anyone walking or running in public. Not motorcyclists. ;) ;)

Ordinary cyclists, don't usually wear full face helmets . ;) ;) ;)

So as long as they don't move whilst next to the bike wearing their helmet they will be ok.
And a fireman should only put on his face mask after he's entered the smoke filled building and not before walking or running from the engine? :D

Well, I'm sure the government would iron out the flaws in my cunning plan Ladylola, before voting it in. Whether it would get through the House of Sleep (sorry meant Lords) is another question. ;) ;) ;)

Was in London today and there was around 30,000 people marching about from pub to pub in disguise with ginger wigs faces hidden with blue and white paint and men in skirts.
A massive massive police presence but they had nothing to do all day except drive about as two groups of fans totalling 53k from opposite sides of the world just partied and enjoyed the occasion

Muslims are allowed to cover their bodies, with an eye slit, but anyone else isn't. There's a law against it. What free speech, and being able to express yourself. What an inequality of law, and freedom of speech. Muslims ARE able to express freedom of speech, but the UK English aren't.

Another u-turn in the offing?

Dec 2010

March 2011

Of course this should also apply to certain other masked thugs, who have also been known to remove all their ID from time to time !

Have you considered that, if there were no violence at these protests, the police wouldn't have to wear all of this protective clothing, helmets etc?

Problem is, far too many peaceful protests are hijacked by groups who are just there to cause trouble. These groups don't care what the main protest is about, just as long as they can smash a few windows and perhaps bash a few heads.

Have you considered that a lot of the trouble is often caused by violent police tactics?

And unfortunately the fact that they appear like this in the first place can provoke the trouble.

Both sides are to blame of course, hence why the 'ban' should be even handed, and the police also prosecuted when they remove their ID...

And the zeal with which protesters are tracked down and punished should be the same for the police who mete out indiscriminate beatings....

But it doesn't seem to work out that way does it, since the police have also been known to be able to kill with apparent impunity... ;)

Have you considered that a lot of the trouble is often caused by violent police tactics?

Now then, Do the police start the riots then? Do they encourage protesters to break the law? Do they incite the protesters into mass rioting?
Consider this,,, When do the police start employing these violent tactics you mention? Is it before the rioting starts or after rioting has started?.
Hmmmm let's just ponder that for a moment, while you think of the correct answer.

joinerjohn

when they assault and kill a non-rioter who is walking home along his usual route, do you count that as incitement?

If the PC who does it is out for a bundle, and takes off his identification beforehand, do you count that as premeditation?

just asking
