Well folks, it's slightly past that time again!

This week we have a couple of SWA cables terminated into a standard joint box.

These were both found this week in underfloor voids, on completely different jobs miles apart from each other.
What an odd coincidence!

At least the second one pays homage to earthing with a few strands of armour connected to the T&E cpc..... :lol:
 
He has got the hang of stripping back the sheath by the time he did the second one!

I'm sure the perpetrator has taken care to calculate the suitability of using just those few armour strands for a cpc and has terminated the other end of those exact same strands accordingly. :wink:
 
I hate those poxy JBs as it is, they're weak and brittle I find, but to bang a SWA into one?!
 
I think it's a good job really. I'd have used 5A blocks.
