Hi every one newb here with a question
I have a Myson Economist and have a problem with the pilot. It is infact the injector shot. does any one know if these parts are still available ( boiler is about 18yrs +)

If the pilot is blocked and you cant clear it I find a good blast with an airgun attached to a compressor @ 8 bar usually gets there. I had a really stubborn one recently which took about 20 mins to clear. Normally they clear after a minute or two as a worst case scenario.
A common problem is that often there are two holes in the injector and you can only clear one.
I do seem to remember buying one a year or two ago in the days before I had the compressor. The only way to find out right now is to search through the gas spares sites on the net

Well according to Parts Center it is still available.

Many thanks to you both for the helpful replys. The problem started when I changed the thermo couple, I some how managed to move the pilot tube and there ensued a leak. So I tried to tighten the back nut to no avail, so I removed the tube from the pilot burner and cleaned up the injector, re assembled but could not stop the leak ( gas passing back through the back nut) so I assume the injector is worn and not seating properly against the pilot burner assembly. I shall give our local plumb point a ring asap Tuesday and see if they can order me one.
Once again
Thank you
Brian
