if you have a table saw angle the blade to around 2 degrees
cut the slithers in random widths
running the main timber on the fence for ease with the offcut being the slithers
reposition the fence approximatly 6mm untill you find a slither that will work for you
flip the timber end to end for every cut
the first and will only slope on one side

cut a bit off 4x1 in to about 15 to 20 slithers

choose a slither that starts at around half in the gap glue
then with a block off wood hammer down till firm

plane shave sand till smooth

thanks, I dont have any decent saws so I was after who stocked the slithers precut if anyone knows. I saw them boxed once but cannot remember where
