I am installing a new bath with a monobloc tap. The existing pipework from tap to T Junction in mains pipe is approx. 50cm.

How am i suppose to fit a 30cm flexi tail,a isolator valve, a check valve, and the bits of pipe alternating between these components into such a short space. I appreciate the flexi tails will bend, but too much bend is bad I imagine. They would almost become U Bends to fit from tap to pipework. I have checked and double checked that all components are neccessary ie check valves etc.

What is the best solution please ?

Thanks

I could lose the isolation valve i suppose, get a flexi with it built in, i would like to keep the nrv, but is this the best way forward ?

Thanks

do away with the NRV & the isolation valve are you really going to rip the bath panel off just to change a washer when you could isolate the water elsewhere, the more you connect to the pipe the lower your flow rate will be

Sure we had this disscusion on another thread. The more unnessecery fittings=more cost+more preventable leaks.

a single check valve screwed onto the tap then screw the shower hose onto that, you can get ones for exactly that purpose

And you can find one of those that's WRAS approved can you?
