pipework under screed

am about to pipe in new rads in extension, pipework is to be covered with concrete screed. Can i do this in copper wrapped in denzo tape or do regs say it has to be plastic in conduit ?? any ideas.

I think you mean the sand and cement screed which will be the finished floor. YES its fine to bury them in this.
If its the concrete sub floor you mean then NO.
Use insulation on your pipes to protect them from the screed.
 
Wrap them in tape with a 50% over wrap. Sorry i cant for the life of me remember the name of the tape, but its yellow and about 60mm wide.

I get mine from Plumbase and the like.

Denso tape with a 50% overwrap is fine, although plastic sleeving is a far better job.

and it sure as hell ain't so messy :LOL: :LOL:

Neither Armaflex or the good old hair felt is water proof, since were taking of cowboys. :eek:

guess what the wet cement does when you lay the screed. :rolleyes:

Who's talking about a wet screed.
Sand and cement screeds are semi dry and anyway the Armaflex is water proof.
 
But Armaflex is insulation not protection

Your house must be a sight too see
