just bought a PIR to operate my garage flourescents, but it has very brief wiring instructions,

it has a manual override feature which overrides the pir by interrupting the supply for less than 2 seconds

diagram attached, could someone please tell me if this is going to work please, and if not whats wrong?

Thanks

Well, I've wired up the PIR, but when i operate the light switch my RCD trips (which is on a different rail) to my lights, but the MCB for the lights does not trip?

any ideas

The switch is wired wrong, or the PIR. Check your wiring matches the diagram.

You're creating an earth fault by operating the switch.

Or, if you have a split board, you have a live from one side and the neutral from the other.

Thanks for your help, I did have the neutral on the wrong side, all working now

Thanks again
