Hi Guys,
Ive read through a couple of threads regarding finishing freshly snaded parquet which was very interesting.
Now obviously there a a couple of main options for finish, these being Hard Wax Oil like osmo, or water bases vernishes etc
I like the idea of a waxed finish but am concerned about the longevity of the finish, I have 2 toddlers running about the place you see. I have looked at pictures of recently finished parquet on google images and i do like the glossy finish of varnishes, however not too glossy so am at a loose end with what to go for, a wax oil that need regular touch-up / maintenance or a varnish....?
Regards.
Charlie.
