Hi,
I have a kitchen with a dining area to one side and I was wanting to partition the room down the middle into two rooms. The current access to the kitchen is from the hall and this would remain. The new opening into an existing stud wall for the doorway into the new room would also be from the hall. One new socket would need added to the new dividing wall on the new room side. The new room would have patio doors with vents at the top which are already there at the existing dining area.

Does anyone have an idea what permissions if any I would need.

Thanks

No planning permissions needed for internal works. From your description you don't need building regs either.
