Hi there ,I currently living on green belt land in swansea. What's the chance of getting planning on my land ? I have been told the government is easing up on planning.any info,advice would be great thx kim

the easing up off regulation refers to easing the process to make them easier and quicker in some areas on what will be permitted works

green belt comes under government policy and not the building regulations

Something that could go in your favour would be the presence of any existing buildings on the site, e.g. barns. If this was the case, the LPA may allow demolition of the existing and re-build of the new under similar areas/volumes so there is no increase in building area/volume.

Always worth seeking pre-application advice on something of that nature.
