PLASTER STAINS ON STONE FLOOR

A plasterer did some work in my kitchen which has stone floor tiles.
He made a complete mess on the floor and I am having difficulty getting the plaster stains off the stone tiles. Does anyone have a solution please?

plenty of detergent and elbow grease.

gypsum plaster is acidic, so the usual acid based brick and patio cleaners will have little effect.
