Plaster Washers & Wedi Washers

Hi,
I need some plaster washers to secure some ceiling plaster but cannot find any in the UK.
Someone mentioned wedi washers as an alternative.
Any thoughts?
I'd ideally like plaster washers but need them for the weekend ideally so can't wait for delivery from the US.
