Hello,

I'll be replastering the walls in my bathroom soon. The walls are built of brick. Can someone shed some light on the following for me?

1. Will the excessive moisture make any difference to the way I plaster?
Should I use browning or bonding for the base coat?

2. Will I need to seal the plaster before tiling?

3. Do I need to do anything special in the corner where I'll be putting the shower?

Any help appreciated :)

Thanks

d.

plastering the wall with browning will be ok.

no need for any thing special.

tiling straight onto the skimmed wall will be fine.

Thanks noseall.

Any idea how long I should leave the plaster to dry before tiling?

BAL suggest 4 weeks but it will depend on the depth of the plaster.
