Plastering over render

Hope this is easy. Just patch rendered a few areas (about 1cm thick, 1:5 plus waterproofer) in the bathroom and want to skim over the top with plaster.

How long do I need to wait before skim - or can I do it following day to get a chemical bond?

How long will this need before tiling?
