Hi

I need a bit of advice as I'm not particularly good at DIY. I'm in the process of decorating the hallway of my house and generally the walls are in a good state to paint straight over. One corner however the paper was peeling off so needed removing. Unfortunately when i started to peel it off some plaster and mortar came away. The wall was a bit damp!!! See pictures attached.

What do i need to do, is it a big job to fix or is it a case of building up the plaster a bit at a time.

cheers

your thinking the right way..build it up a layer at a time..if you try to do it in one hit it will sag

Make sure you take all the loose off first and wet the wall

Im sure theres a product out there, matbe in B an Q that lefts you fill deep stuff like that
