Plastic heating pipes crossing 3inch below cables

Hey there are some cables that run through drilled holes in the joist near the top. I am wanting to run some heating pipes below them clipped to side of the joist at the bottom of the joist, so the heating pipes will only be below them for the width of the cables and inch or 2. The heating pipes will be plastic and I was looking at putting some fit lagging on them were they pass underneath the cables. Is this ok?

As long as there is a reasonable air gap between the cables and the pipe? If you are going to lag them too then yes that should be OK IMO

yeah, given the lagging and air space I would think that should be ok. T&E cable's rated to 70 Deg C so there wouldn't be anywhere near that.
As long as you don't have a coupling directly underneath either, if the coupling goes then..well, you know the rest I'm sure.. :eek:
