Okay this is my first post. Sorry I couldn't find a discussion area appropriate for fixing various bits and bobs and an airsoft mask is a rather random thing to need to fix.

I bought this mask for my brother, it took ages to ship in and its otherwise perfect apart from the fact one rivet is missing, as you can see in this photo here:

This is how it should be, as is on the other side, front and back:

Now normally I'd send it back, but I don't have time to do this, and I also don't have a receipt. It should just be a case of getting these double sided plastic rivet thingys and popping them in, but I don't know what they're called and hence don't know what I'm looking for. So if anyone can identify what these plastic rivety things are, and tell me where I can get them from I'd be immensely grateful. Thanks :)

They look like plastic press studs/snap fasteners similar to THESE but I don't know if they are a suitable size because your images are a bit large.

They are called plastic rivets.
You can buy them in packs, you also need the tool fit them.

However for only one, a much easier way is to visit your local car repair bodyshop, since they are used to secure interior panels to car doors and suchlike.

Snap fasterners/press studs seem to be the best solution but they need a specialist tool and I don't know where I can get access to one.

IMO the car type plastic rivets will be no good whatsoever.

The reason for this is because they have a fairly long length to them as they go through moldings that have not got a face on the other side.

Email the supplier and tell them its missing, get them to post you a replacement rivet pdq.

Try Richco as they are the manufacturers of these wonderful items.

If you only need a couple email them and ask for some samples of xxx part (ask for more than the qty you actually need).

The PPR-Blunt looks about the right size.

Perhaps Resin KAM Snaps are a better option for you. It may be worth a trip to a local sewing shop/haberdashery as they would seem to be the places most likely to have them, or something similar, especially as you need one on a hurry.
