Hi Folks,

Am I right in thinking that 40mm waste should be used in kitchens (sink, dishwasher & washing machine) and 32mm or 40mm in bathrooms (32 for w/basins & 40 for showers / baths)?

Also plastic waste pipe seems to come in three types PVCu, ABS and Polyropylene.

Can they all be solvent welded and when solvent welding can they be mixed or do you have to use like with like - presumably material is not an issue when use push / compression fittings?

Thanks

F

no they can't all be solvent welded
