Are you really that daft?

If the cable does not fit in a plug that is because the cooker or appliance rating is greater than 13A, the max rating of a plug. To even consider wiring this up to a plug is crazy at best.

These things are designed to be wired in permanently and should never be on a blooming plug....

Your obviously a sap so call out a sparky to help you out before you kill yourself or someone else.

Hey thanks man !! you may have just saved my life and even others !!! thanks for such a qick response...we gypsy's arenot into electrics so I will call a sparky noting your good advie, George,

from George, that was not a wind-up I assure you !!! but I hasten to add that at least I did ask advice''' before doing anything !
and also wher I lead the wires to was outside to a weatherproof junction' and the to liht nd camera... nothing over 13 amp.. but I really do thank you ..its no wind up !!! george, maybe I have a lot to learn thanks and bye

Please accept my apologies George.
We do get some mischeivous imps in here and we are all glad you had the sense to ask before killing yourself.

It amazes me how many people are out there with suicidal tendencies!. They will spend thousands on carpets, ornaments and decoration but will not spend a few quid on electricians who may help them stay alive and stop them burning their houses down. Or am I just being cynical?

to Qedelec,
thanks , all is well and I took no offence at all , I thank you for being a man' your now a honoured member of our Gypsy' Clan,....
take care George,
