Hi,
I have laid new floor in the Bathroom and I went under my Loo. My problem is because the Loo has been raised about 8mm I cannot reach to reconnect it to the service value.
Normally this would not be a big problem, I would cut pipe and extend to reach, but I only have 20mm of pipe below the service valve before it is all boxed in and tiled over. I only need to reach about 8mm, I not sure what I sould do next.
Any body got any Ideas?

A better desription is probably req'd

Distance from tiles to service valve =
size/type of service valve=
Distance from service valve to toilet connection=

Distance from tiles to service valve = 20mm to bottom of service vale
size/type of service valve= Regular one that connects to the Loo?
Distance from service valve to toilet connection=8mm

What does a male/female socket look like?
Will that allow me enough room to cut the service valve pipe within the 20 mm I have, lower it, then add the male/female conector?
Is half inch the size for british Loos?

Thems called tap or rad extentions.

Ask in the merchants.

Hi,
Just to let you know I got a brass half inch male/female socket from a plumbing place and it did the job, easy.
Thanks for the help, I'm very happy with it, I never thought of the answer and it has saved me a lot of headache.
Cheers!
