Plumbing pipes

Hi folks,

I have bought a house and it is need all the plumbing done in it. My question is which is the most popular out of the copper pipes or this speed fit plastic pipes?

Any pros or cons with them? Just wondering which one I will use.

-Copper will last forever once done right BUT slow (more dificult) to install

-Speedfit have a 25 year guarrenty (dont know what happens after that- Can be installed very fast easily and cheaper

As a pro I use copper where seen and Speedfit where hidden. Best of both worlds fast to install and looks good on the surface.

If using plastic hire a hydraulic testing device and test you stsem to 250% or 1.5 times the working pressure of the finished system. This is usually 3 bar so test pressure would be 7.5bar for an hour View media item 67557
