Good Evening Gentlemen.

I am installing a monobloc kitchen mixer tap.

Any tips on how to tighten 10mm pipes at head end? Space is very restricted.

If you mean at base of monobloc, then tighten before fitting. Usually they have rubber 'o' ring seal so you don't have to go mad on tightening

Many thanks Dave - gas4you, to my query.

Unfortunately the monobloc has already been fitted by the kitchen installer - I have to carry out the plumbing.

Each tap connector is a app. 9 inch length of 15mm copper. The pipe has been shrunk at one end and the tap connector is welded on at this end.

Would it be adequate to wrap some tape around the 15mm end of the pipe and use a vice grip to tighten the connection?

Many thanks

You shouldn't need to use grips or wrenches, hand tightness should do it as was mentioned before they have 'o' rings to make the seal-if you go too mad on them you will destroy them.
