pointless british gas job flyers in post?

Had leaflet through post today for technical instalation engineers-went to have a nose on the website and it said no vacancies for that role in my area-do bg send these waste of time flyers often??although ive got my acs and corgi reg from looking at the other jobs i could apply for i ticked every box apart from the one which asked if i had a c&g im plumbing or something and it wouldnt let me go to next stage of the process!Do they send these pointless flyers out often??

yes about 5 or 6 times a year still wouldn't go near them
i escaped years ago why would i want to get involved again

I had one similar for technical engineer. Said you needed full ACS including WAT1 and DAH1. I haven't got these modules because I never seem to come across them anymore. I rang BG and told them I didn't have them and they said just to apply anyway.

I start for them in September.
