I think that's right ....they should fight for the views of their electorate even if they don't agree with them.

They are put in office to represent their electorate are they not.

Yes, they are put in office to represent all of the electorate.
That is both remainers and leavers.

MPs have a responsibility to do the best for the country and its people.
So when business leaders, farmers unions, trade negotiators tell them Brexit is bad for the UK, then they campaign not to leave.

Dominic Grieve cares so much for the country he is willing to lose his job. Selflsss
Unlike Johnson who is self serving and lies.

MPs dont listen to people like Gasbanni, who know nothing and continue to know nothing.

Incorrect when a referendum said brexit...then Brexit.

Some of the above ..all guessing
Unless you provide a counter argument, your post has no weight.

Your decision to leave was based entirely on guesswork -youve already admitted you cant be bothered with knowledge.

And yours,to remain..With the exception of we have 40 years of experience of EU being crap,,you have zero seconds of Brexit being crap..!!..Not happened yet.All Astrology on your part.

Nope.

If businesses say to their MPs: 'my business will be damaged and that will mean job losses in your constituency'......

Then the MP has a duty to put their constituency first.

Not some plumber that is blindly shouting Brexit.....just because he put his tick in a box.

As usual Notchy,,you exaggerate, not every business thinks brexit bad...

Along with 17million others...Make your mind up..do you want the MP to act for minority or majority,,you cannot have both, Mr 40 watt

That is a very good point. Only 37% of the electorate wanted to leave the EU. A politician must therefore represent the 63% majority that do not want to leave the EU.

It is so refreshing to see that somebody really understands how democracy works in the UK.
